Truck Driving Academy is committed to providing students with the highest quality of education through a curriculum designed to prepare students for entry-level employment. Through hands-on experience students will have the opportunity to perfect their practical skills enabling them to advance quickly within the transportation industry. Our goal and mission is to educate students to be safe and courteous drivers.

First-Rate Course Offerings

OTR Truck Driver - 160 Hour Program includes:

~Classroom Class A Permit Training

~Endorsements (if wanted by student)

~Behind the Wheel Training (Pre-trip, Skills and Drive)

~Instructor to take you and the truck to your Class A Drive test at the DMV

~Lifetime Job Placement Assistance

Classroom

Our 40 hour classroom includes help with obtaining your Class A Permit along with any endorsements you would like to get. Permit required subjects include Class C, air brakes, combination and general knowledge. This first week is in our Market Street location.

Behind The Wheel Training

You will train in 1 of 3 International Prostars with a 10 speed Eaton transmission located in our Olivehurst yard. To prepare you for the open road, our trainers will help you learn a proper pre trip inspection. Along with skills that teach you to properly and safely back up a semi-truck and trailer along with the correct and safe way to drive an 18 wheeler.

Graduation

Upon completion of our program and obtaining your CDL, you will receive a certificate and lifetime job placement assistance.
