Juarez Driving School operates on an open entry/open exit program to allow students to train at their own pace and with room for adjustments on their schedules. Juarez Driving School offers flexible weekday hours from 9am to 7pm and Saturday hours from 9am to 4pm.

Illinois Occupational Skill Standers Course

Basic Course

6 weeks

160 hours … $3200

Thirty-two (32) hours of one on one driving instruction, forty (40) hours of classroom and eighty-eight (88) hours of remedial.

Advanced Course

8 weeks

200 hours … $4000

Forty (40) hours of one on one driving instruction, sixty (60) hours of classroom and hundred (100) hours of remedial.

Accelerated Professional Course

10 weeks

220 hours … $5000

Fifty (50) hours of one on one driving instruction, eight (80) hours of classroom and one hundred (100) hours of remedial.

Elite Program

Eighteen Wheeler Over the Road Course

10 weeks

260 hours … $8000

Eighty (80) hours one on one driving instruction, includes 20 hours over the road training. Eight (80) hours of classroom. One hundred (100) hours of remedial instruction.

REFRESHER COURSE

TO QUALIFY FOR THIS BASIC COURSE, APPLICANTS MUST HAVE PREVIOUS CDL ACCREDITATION AND MUST KNOW HOW TO DRIVE VEHICLES WITH MANUAL TRANSMISSION, NOT FOR THE OTHER PROGRAMS

Gladys Vignettes, President

Gladys Vignettes is the founder and President of Juarez Driving School. Her degree in business administration and accounting served as the foundation when Juarez Driving School came into existence in 1968. Since then, Juarez Driving School has become a leader in providing the trucking industry with quality graduates consistently. Gladys’ commitment and dedication to excellent training is evident by the personal interest she takes in all of her students. Her areas of expertise within the trucking industry includes program development, hazardous materials, safety and Department of Transportation regulations.

Pedro A. Vignettes, Training Program Director

Pedro A. Vignettes is the co-founder and Training Program Director of Juarez Driving School. His education in Business Administration and desire to help the Hispanic community has been instrumental in the day to day operations of Juarez Driving School. Pedro has over 44 years of experience in professional driving instruction with defensive driving techniques and his areas of expertise in training includes Commercial Drivers License endorsements. Department of Transportation hours or service regulations, safety, equipment maintenance procedures and practical work skills development.

Brenda Rosillo, Placement Coordinator

Brenda Rosillo is the Placement Coordinator of Juarez Driving School. Brenda is a well rounded professional with a Bachelors degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and over twelve years experience in Human Resources. Brenda has established many contacts with all types of businesses and industries and prides herself in maintaining an “open door” policy with all of the Juarez Driving School graduates that are seeking placement assistance.
