Stevens Driving Academy of Texas, LP has also partnered with local truck driving schools to open satellite facilities in strategic locations throughout the United States. We have partnered with the top training facilities in the country to ensure that our drivers receive an education that meets and/or exceeds our high standards. No matter what part of the country you are from, we have the right training facility for you!

DEDICATION TO CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT

Not only have we been training drivers for success for decades, but we also have a commitment to continuous development!

Stevens Transport has just taken the next step and was granted authorization in April 2017 to administer the Commercial Driver License (CDL) Skills Test on behalf of the Department of Public Safety. This authorization allows Stevens Transport to conduct the Third-Party Skills CDL Test. Having the capabilities to conduct the Third Party CDL Test has greatly reduced the wait time for a student to take the Skills test, which means that you could be on the road starting your adventure that much quicker!

INDUSTRY LEADING TUITION SHARE AND REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAMS

At Stevens Transport, we see the value of not only adding skilled, talented drivers to the industry, but also giving students the opportunity to learn! If you do not have the financial means to go to an outside training program, we do offer company sponsorship.

STEVENS TRANSPORT OFFERS UP TO $7500 IN REIMBURSEMENT

Stevens Transport also offers anyone who attends an outside CDL academy up to $7500 in tuition reimbursement to be paid out to the driver themselves or to their lender as long as they are working for us. We have an impeccable record with finance companies by making on-time payments for our drivers so that there is no stress involved. We take the burden off of your shoulders so that you can focus on what is important!

ATTEND COMPANY-SPONSORED TRUCK DRIVING SCHOOL IN ST. LOUIS

TRAIN FOR YOUR MISSOURI CLASS A CDL

Stevens Transport has partnered with MTC Truck Driver Training in Hazelwood, MO. This partnership allows Missouri residents to take advantage of our accelerated Company sponsored Class A CDL training program. When you do your training at MTC, you will be able to get the hands-on training you need to get started as a new driver in just four (4) short weeks. Graduates of MTC can earn up to $50,000 in their first year and up to $70,000 in their third year.

If you live in St. Louis, Chesterfield, Arnold, St. Charles, Florissant, Ferguson, Winfield, Columbia, Mexico, Bowling Green, Hannibal and the surrounding areas, you can qualify for our Company sponsored Class A CDL training. Transportation, lodging and CDL training can be covered in St. Louis, MO!

In addition to receiving their CDL, students learn best practices and how to be the best and safest drivers on the road from certified professional trainers. Students get the time and help needed during the four-week commercial driving course to be the top drivers on the road today. New driver trainees can enroll anytime, but classes are held Monday through Saturday and last four weeks long.

HOW OFTEN DO NEW CDL TRAINING CLASSES BEGIN?

A new CDL training class at the St. Louis campus begins every Monday.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I’VE FINISHED CDL SCHOOL?

Upon completion of the truck driver training program at MTC Truck Driver Training, each student is required to attend orientation at Stevens Transport headquarters in Dallas, Texas – transportation will be provided. After receiving the CDL, drivers begin the over the road training program. This includes being paired with a driver mentor and trainer, where students receive 1-on-1 training and complete 240 hours behind the wheel over the course of five to six weeks. Individual training includes driving and navigating all five regions of the U.S., while learning how to haul time-sensitive and temperature-controlled commodities. The hands-on aspect of this training will put your career on the road to success and includes a weekly salary during this time.

As new employees of Stevens Transport, drivers will be assigned to their own equipment and be paid on a per-mile basis at this point, earning an average of $50,000 in the first year and $70,000 in the third year. Drivers can take their career in a number of directions at this point, including:
