We are a truck driver training school located in Byram, Mississippi. We were established in 1999 and have been responsible for providing outstanding training for commercial drivers since that time. We are family owned and offer a host of services that will take care of your training needs. We are a proprietry school.

Mississippi is a closed state and requires that you first hold a valid Mississippi drivers license to begin the commercial class A drivers license process. If you currently hold a commercial class A driver's license and are requiring a Refresher Course you may hold a valid class A driver's license in any state.

Ace Training Center has been in business for over 14 years and offers a unique 200 hour training program. Our training program is designed to meet all trucking company needs while enabling you to become a professional driver. Our clients are very important to us and we are very committed to them.

The training facility is state of the art and our equipment is up to date and meets or exceeds all industry standards. We use only 53' vans for training purposes. Management alone has over 35 years of experience in the transportation industry. Our instructors are all hand selected specialists with experience in the transportation industry. They are highly qualified to instruct you to become an ACE Driver!

We offer day and night classes both for the beginner and the refresher:

Full Course – This course is for the individual that has a valid Mississippi driver's license, but requires a Class A CDL. Classes are 200 hours in length and cover everything from acquiring a learner's permit to parallel parking an eighteen wheeler.

Refresher Course – This course is for the individual that currently holds a valid CDL A, but has not driven recently and wants to re-enter the industry. In today's job market, trucking companies are requiring recent experience or a refresher course from a certified school. Course length depends on the trucking company's requirements for each individual based on driving record, length of time out of a truck, etc.

Day Classes are Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM thru 5:00 PM for approximately 4 weeks for a full course. New day classes begin every 2 weeks.

Night Classes are Monday thru Friday from 5:00 PM thru Midnight for approximately 6 weeks for a full course. New night classes begin every 3 weeks.

Why enroll in a professional truck driving school?

Some trucking companies offer company training but you must sign a contract to work for the company for one or more years. You will be charged for your total tuition if you do not complete your contract. This can be very expensive or create problems with your credit history. Ace allows you the freedom to choose from one of the many trucking companies that we continually work with or you may choose an employer of your choice. We will assist you in landing the job of your dreams...there are many local and over the road companies from which to choose while you are still in training.
