QUALITY CDL TRAINING IN

LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

We offer five courses as well as custom corporate training -- allowing you to select the training which works best for you. Two courses focus on people who are still working on their Class A CDL. Three more are refresher courses for people with truck driving experience -- perhaps you’ve been off the road for a few years.

PROFESSIONAL FOUR WEEK CLASS A CDL COURSE

This course is for people who have never driven a truck before, and want the full classroom and behind-the-wheel training. You receive a full four-weeks of training during this course.

4 Weeks 160 Hours

Your classroom training will give you a full understanding of the industry, including what you need to become an owner-operator. You’ll be ready for the road tests at the end of your four weeks.

PROFESSIONAL THREE WEEK CLASS A CDL COURSE

This course is for people who need to focus on skills training more than classroom learning. You’ll be on our range or out on the road.

3 Weeks 120 Hours

By the end of the course, you will be more than ready for your road tests.

DTR School of Trucking is proud to be certified by the Nevada DMV to administer road tests to students on our vehicles. Our testing procedures meet all Federal and State requirements, and you will be assured that you are ready for the road when you’ve completed your training and testing.

The wait-time for a road test at the DMV is 2-3 weeks. By taking advantage of our ability to conduct testing, you can be out on the road sooner!

TWO WEEK REFRESHER COURSE

​This refresher course is for people with their CDL Class A permit, with or without experience. You know you have the skills but want to practice before aking your road tests or getting back on the road.

2 Weeks 40 Hours

You’ll be ready to go when you finish this course. You’ll have plenty of time to work on skills you need work on, as well as practice on our range and out on the road.

You won’t feel rusty any more!

ONE WEEK REFRESHER COURSE

This course is for people with truck-driving experience only. Whether you had a CDL years ago, or want to brush up some current skills, this accelerated course is for experienced drivers with a CDL permit at least.

1 Week 20 Hours

We’ll spend the time you need, both on our range and out on the road, working on the skills you want to work on. You’ll get back on the road confidently!

LIFETIME JOB PLACEMENT SERVICES

FOR OUR CDL STUDENTS IN LAS VEGAS

All of our CDL students, whether they’re with us for one week or four, receive lifetime job placement services from our Placement Department.

We’ll work with you while you’re taking your course -- you might be interviewed and hired before you’re finished! Both DTR Transport and other major carriers interview and hire our students. They know we produce excellent drivers.

At DTR School of Trucking, we believe that you’ll learn best in small classes -- you can get the most attention from your instructors, but still have other students to learn from. We make sure your training feels personal.
