Commercial Driver Training

Requirements are a NYS driver’s license, you must be 21 years or older and pass the written skills test at the DMV. Get the NYS CDL Manual for free at our office, or visit our online CDL prep course. Study the sections of the manual that apply to the type of CDL you need. The sections of the manual that you need to study are explained in the manual.Apply for a commercial learner permit at a DMV office. You must pass the written test for the CDL that you need. There is an application fee of $10. You must pay the additional fees for the endorsement knowledge tests.

Class-A - Tractor Trailer

Allows you to operate vehicles which tow trailers or other vehicles with a GVWR over 10,000 pounds. A Class-A license also allows you to operate Class-A and Class-B vehicles.
