Class A Commercial Drivers License

Washington state requires the following instruction, at a minimum:

160 Total Hours of Instruction:

40 Hours of classroom instruction

50 Hours "Behind the Wheel (BTW)"

18 Hours of Street Driving

16 Hours of training in Backing Maneuvers

16 Hours of Proficiency Development (Backing or Street Driving)

70 Hours of combined Lab, Range, or Observation Training

Pre-Trip Inspections, Coupling, Chain Install, Weight, etc...
