Mike Adams Towing – Hauling in Macon GA

Founded in 1993 Mike Adams had a dream to become a leader in the towing industry,25 years ago, and is located at 1950 Emery Hwy, Macon, GA – (478) 746-4181.

This company is amazing!!!  Got stranded in the WalMart parking lot in a 40′ RV towing a 16′ trailer.  Not a good day!  Called Mike Adams Towing and the receptionist/dispatcher was a wonderful lady.  First asked if I was in a safe place then proceeded to get a “heavy” to dispatched to me.  I’m so sorry ma’am, I didn’t get your name, but thank you so much for your kindness!

The tow driver arrived shortly thereafter.   A very friendly, calm, meticulous and detail oriented guy.  Busted his azz to get everything hooked up properly on one of the hottest days ever!   We got rolling within an hour.  The length of this entire set up was over 80′.  Mr Tow Truck Driver maneuvered out of that parking lot like he was in a sports car.

En route to Mid Georgia Freightliner, Mr. Tow Truck Driver stopped 3 times.  First two stops were to secure a compartment door that kept popping open when the RV would flex on turns.  The last time was only a couple miles away from Freightliner and Mr. TTD didn’t like the way the RV was pulling and wanted to re-hitch it (after a particularly tight turn).  He complete re-hooked things up before we proceeded to prevent any damage to our RV.

Mike Adams Towing has very valuable assets in the two employees I mentioned in this review.  I only wish I had gotten their names so I could properly acknowledge them.  These two people are the epitome of “Georgia Hospitality” and my husband and I will be forever grateful for their kindness to strangers.  I highly and wholeheartedly recommend Mike Adams Towing.  And their price was amazingly reasonable.

Mike Adam’s towing responded to on base robins afb. It’s a pain to get on base, you have to meet the wrecker at the visitors center, produce registration and insurance to get a pass, Adam’s towing did it all, on time, and was able to get my vehicle started versus towing it. I highly recommend Adam’s towing

I didn’t catch their names, but the 2 gentlemen that helped us out this morning (12/30)  at Direct South in Macon were amazing. They were patient, helpful, kind, and went above and beyond to help us get the job done. Thank you!

Heavy-Duty Towing Service and Recovery near me

Heavy-duty towing is a type of towing that is used for larger vehicles such as Tractor Trailers, Dump Trucks, Motorhomes, RV’s, and buses. This type of towing requires special equipment and training, as it is not safe to tow these types of vehicles with traditional tow trucks.

Heavy-duty Towing is often used in the event of an accident, where a Big Rig such as a Tractor Trailer has been involved and may even have rolled over as these vehicles can be difficult to move and may be blocking traffic. It is also used when a vehicle becomes disabled from a collision, rollover, or fire, and cannot be driven. In these cases, the tow truck will transport the vehicle to a repair shop or other locations for storage.

Do you Need Specialized Equipment to Tow a Big Rig?

Because of the size and weight of Trucks, Tractor Trailers, Big Rigs require specialized equipment for towing. This includes heavy duty tow trucks and wreckers. The tow truck must be able to support the weight of the tractor trailer which may even be loaded and weigh 80,000 lbs, which must be able to be safely moved and transported.

What makes a tow truck a rotator?

Heavy-Duty Towing Rotator features a crane-like arm that can rotate 360 degrees. They are commonly used in accidents that involve heavy vehicles such as larger trucks and tractor-trailers. Some models of this powerful tow truck have the capacity to lift up to 70 tons, over 100,000 lbs.
