VERNON TRANSPORTATION COMPANY

Vernon Transpiration was established in 1985 by John Aguilar with just one truck and only himself as the driver. John was a firm believer in that if you wanted to be good at something, then that has to be the only thing you do! That motto still runs true today as we are dedicated to hauling only sweeteners. With this type of dedication and roots in the sweetener industry dating back to the early 50’s, we have always set our standards to the absolute highest surpassing even the customers that we haul for. This has allowed Vernon Transportation to become known as the premier transporter of sweeteners nationwide and is the most requested carrier by all of the major sweetener suppliers and customers in the food and beverage industry.

PRODUCT TRANSFER & STORAGE

Not only do we deliver sugar but we handle it as well! Our company offers several options for liquid and dry sugar handling across the country. Whether you want to warehouse and store or transfer from railcar to truck we have a solution for you. In the past companies needed to spend tens of millions of dollars building wash stations and transfer sites but those days are over. With increased emphasis on reducing costs we have engineered a state of the art “terminal in a box” that we designed, built, and are using now to handle and transfer liquid sweeteners. All we need are utilities, a slab of concrete, and rail access and we can begin handling product in a very short amount of time. In the fast paced environment we operate in this is what makes us a partner of choice!

Food Grade Tank Wash

The general population has confidence in the food and drinks they consume as we have regulations to keep our food supply chain safe. These regulations include how the food is handled, stored and transported, which also includes, how a bulk tank trailer needs to be washed.

Kosher Food Grade Tank Wash

Kosher transport must adhere to Jewish kashrut laws just as strictly as food production. According to kashrut food laws, any hot non-kosher items can’t touch kosher food. If that happens, then the kosher food is no longer kosher. In turn, if a tanker holds non-kosher food items and then carries kosher food — the kosher certification is lost. All Food grade tank trailers, wash locations, and storage facilities must be certified kosher by rabbis who specialize in the certification process.
