DEDICATION TO CONTINUOUS DEVELOPMENT

Not only have we been training drivers for success for decades, but we also have a commitment to continuous development!

Stevens Transport has just taken the next step and was granted authorization in April 2017 to administer the Commercial Driver License (CDL) Skills Test on behalf of the Department of Public Safety. This authorization allows Stevens Transport to conduct the Third-Party Skills CDL Test. Having the capabilities to conduct the Third Party CDL Test has greatly reduced the wait time for a student to take the Skills test, which means that you could be on the road starting your adventure that much quicker!

INDUSTRY LEADING TUITION SHARE AND REIMBURSEMENT PROGRAMS

At Stevens Transport, we see the value of not only adding skilled, talented drivers to the industry, but also giving students the opportunity to learn! If you do not have the financial means to go to an outside training program, we do offer company sponsorship.

STEVENS TRANSPORT OFFERS UP TO $7500 IN REIMBURSEMENT

Stevens Transport also offers anyone who attends an outside CDL academy up to $7500 in tuition reimbursement to be paid out to the driver themselves or to their lender as long as they are working for us. We have an impeccable record with finance companies by making on-time payments for our drivers so that there is no stress involved. We take the burden off of your shoulders so that you can focus on what is important!

COMPANY-SPONSORED TRUCK DRIVING SCHOOL IN CAPE GIRARADEAU

CLASS A CDL TRAINING

To keep up with this demand and our need for new truck driver trainees, we have expanded our Class A CDL training network to Cape Girardeau, MO.

Stevens Transport has partnered with MTC Truck Driver Training to offer a company sponsored CDL Training in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. In just four weeks, you can earn your Class A CDL license and begin your new career has a high-paid professional truck driver. New Stevens Transport drivers can earn up to $50,000 in their first year and $70,000 in their third year.

Stevens Transport has tremendous opportunities for new drivers in the I-55 and I-57 corridor. Our extensive shipping contracts with companies like Perdue, Kraft, Hershey, Tyson, Coca-Cola, Whole Foods, Kellogg’s, Hy-Vee, Green Giant, Walmart and General Mills make this a tremendous area for new drivers.

MISSOURI CDL TRAINING CLASSES EVERY MONDAY

If you live in Cape Girardeau, Sikeston, Benton, Chaffee, Scott City, Jackson, Perryville, Paducah, Marion, Carbondale or the surrounding areas, we have a great job waiting for you. Drivers from Missouri, Illinois and Arkansas can take advantage of our Company Paid CDL Training program. All costs can be covered, and you can be trained and ready to start work in less than a month!

PAID, ON-THE-JOB TRAINING

Upon completion of the truck driver training program at MTC Truck Driver Training, each student is required to attend orientation at Stevens Transport headquarters in Dallas, Texas – transportation will be provided. After receiving the CDL, drivers begin the over the road training program. This includes being paired with a driver mentor and trainer, where students receive 1-on-1 training and complete 240 hours behind the wheel over the course of five to six weeks. After successfully completing the OTR training phase, you will be assigned your own equipment after completing your orientation at our Headquarters in Dallas, TX. You will start being paid on a per mile basis, averaging $800 to $900 per week. First year drivers have an average yearly income of $50,000 with third year drivers earning approximately $70,000. After completing the Over the Road Training Program, you can take your career in a variety of different directions including: Dedicated Driver, Regional Driver, Contractor Division, or Owner/Operator.
