Rendel LLC provides affordable CDL truck driving assistance to help you feel secure and competent behind the wheel of a commercial truck and trailer. We utilize an International single axle, automatic transmission with a 28 foot pup trailer. You will need to take the following steps in order to get the most from our service:

You must first pass the written exams at your local Texas Drivers License office. We currently use the Waxahachie, Corsicana, Athens and Terrell DPS offices to take the driving test. Study the following sections in the Texas CDL Handbook:

General Knowledge -- Sections 1-3

Air brakes -- Section 5

Combination Vehicles -- Section 6

Pre-Trip Vehicle Inspection -- Section 11

Special Requirements -- Section 14

The above sections are the minimum requirement you must pass to qualify for your CDL. If you fail one section of the exam, you may take that particular section again the following day. You are eligible to take the driving portion of the test once you have passed all 5 sections of the written test. The CDL driving tests will be at either the Waxahachie or the Corsicana offices, unless other arrangements are agreed upon.

Call us at (972) 998-4340 for an appointment to practice driving the truck and trailer. We will practice driving and backing; focus on any identified driving weaknesses; review the air brake test and the pre trip inspection process.

Once you are comfortable with driving the truck, we will schedule an appointment for you to take the driving test with our truck at the Texas DPS testing facility in Corsicana or Waxahachie.
