Bauer Built, founded in 1944 by G.F. “Sam” Bauer, turned 75 years old on April 18, 2019. The original business was a bulk petroleum business but shortly after, in January 1945, the company began selling tires and related services. With the Allied Oil commercial tire division acquisition, Bauer Built now has 35 Tire and Service Centers, 1 Wholesale Division, 7 MRTI plants and 3 wheel-refinishing operations, spread across 10 Midwest states including the original bulk petroleum business referred to as Bauer Built Oil out of our headquarters in Durand, Wis.
