160 Driving Academy is a four-week course that is consistent with the laws and guidelines of the Illinois Secretary of State and the Department of Transportation. The focus is that of the highest quality training and safety of our students. On average, our past students are earning over $42,000.00 per year.

160 Driving Academy have options to assist in the cost of tuition. Currently, for qualified students, 160 Driving Academy have a number of national trucking companies sponsoring our students. 160 Driving Academy also accepts WIOA and VA grants and tuition-free options for student not eligible for government funds. CLASSES BEGIN EVERY MONDAY ALL YEAR LONG

Class Requirements:

DOT Physical and Drug Screen- (We will schedule you)

Valid Licensed to drive a car

Proof of Legal Presence (U.S Passport, Birth Certificate, Permanent Resident Card)

We also review criminal and driving record to make sure they are consistent with the industry standards.

Class Details:

Week #1 – Classroom Monday-Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM

Weeks #2-4-Behind the wheel Training 7 AM to 3:30 PM

Black Hawk College’s district office is located at the Quad-Cities Campus in Moline, while the East Campus is located five miles south of Kewanee. Black Hawk College serves all or part of nine counties in northwestern Illinois with a population of more than 225,000 residents.

Operated as one college with two campuses and several outreach sites, Black Hawk College offers both career and transfer programs. The college also offers a wide range of special purpose and community outreach programs.

Black Hawk College offers a full array of student clubs, honor societies, athletic programs and judging teams. Athletic teams compete in the NJCAA Arrowhead Conference.

Black Hawk College operates within Illinois Community College District #503, an area encompassing 2,200 square miles in nine counties of northwestern Illinois (Bureau, Henderson, Henry, Knox, Marshall, Mercer, Rock Island, Stark and Whiteside). In addition to full-service campuses in Moline and near Kewanee, the college operates the Adult Learning Center in Rock Island, the Community Education Center in Kewanee, the Industrial Training Lab Extension Center in Moline, the Outreach Center in East Moline, and the Welding and Skilled Trades Center in Kewanee. The college offers a variety of career and transfer programs and serves more people than any other institution of higher education in the Quad-Cities area.
